Australian Aqua Dragons wins top award at International Toy Fair

Australian product developer and Worlds Alive founder Amy Holden's latest release, Aqua Dragons, has won a Best New Toy award in the Hobby category at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, as voted by the retailers attending the fair.
Aqua Dragons allows children to bring aquatic beings to life by placing them into a water tank. This awakens them from cryptobiosis – a state of hibernation in egg form – and where they will start to hatch.
Over the course of these minature crustaceans’ six-month lifespan children can watch them swim, play, eat, communicate, reproduce and grow up to two centimetres in length.
Aqua Dragons will be distributed in Australia by Modern Brands. The product will launch next month at Toy Fair in Melbourne.
